Richmond Area Farmer's Markets INFO

After mentioning that WholeFoods has a Farmer's Market in the front of their store every Thursday from 4-7pm, I thought I should mention a couple of other local markets:

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church on Grove Ave.- website
             May-Oct Saturday 8a-12pm
             (My favorite-doggies are welcome)
-Local Meat, Produce, Fresh Pasta, Plants, Sweets, and Crafts
(Knife and Tool Sharpening Service as well!!)

West End Farmer's Market-12450 Gayton Rd. at Ridgefield (In Front of Ollie's)
         - website Hours are Wednesday 3:00-6:30 pm
           Saturday 8am-12pm and
           starting June 12th Sunday 10am-2pm
-Local Meat, Eggs, Cheese, Produce, Fresh Pasta, Plants,
             Sweets, and Crafts

17th Street Farmer's Market-at 17th and Main in Shockoe Bottom.
Their website leaves a lot to be desired.
It hasn't been updated with events this year.
-very disappointing. Hopefully there will be a
Tomato Festival in July...Any info out there?

What is your favorite market?? Leave a comment or send me an email!
